In the Sacrament of Confirmation, one is empowered by the gifts of the Holy Spirit; wisdom, understanding, piety, knowledge, fortitude, counsel, and fear of the Lord. The Holy Spirit descends upon confirming one in the Spirit and inspiring them to go forth to make disciples in the world. Becoming a mature disciple of Christ, an individual lives their life accordingly to the will of God and the teachings of the Faith.

Who may receive the Sacrament? Anyone has received the Sacrament of Baptism, and First Holy Communion.

When does one receive the Sacrament? For Immaculate Conception kids who are eligible and have received instruction, they may receive it during their 7th grade year. Those adults who are coming into the Church, receive the Sacrament on Holy Saturday, Easter Vigil Mass, after instructions in RCIA.
