This program provides religious education and Sacramental preparation elementary students in grades K-8 who attend non-Catholic schools or are homeschooled. The parish catechists work with the families of the children to provide the opportunity for the children to grow spiritually, to understand their faith, and to develop their personal relationship with Christ. The process by which an adult person is initiated into the Catholic Church, through Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion.  Through this process, the adult is formed in the Christian faith, with the local parish community serving as both catechists and models.
